NCADD and Tabor House present the National Tour of PASS IT ON: An Evening with Bill W. & Dr. Bob Live On Stage - the inspirational true story about the co-founders of Alcoholics Anonymous stumbling onto the discovery of 12 step recovery. This powerful production - featuring two nationally acclaimed actors - delivers an unforgettable evening of live theater and has created excitement among theater audiences and recovery communities throughout the United States and Canada.
PASS IT ON: An Evening with Bill W. & Dr. Bob transports the audience to an A.A. meeting in 1949 with the beloved co-founders of Alcoholics Anonymous as the keynote speakers. They tell their stories and dramatize key events such as their legendary drinking sprees and the extraordinary night they met in Akron Ohio in 1935.
Bill W. and Dr. Bob regale the audience with fascinating and hilarious yarns about the early history of Alcoholics Anonymous including writing the Big Book, creating the 12 Steps and how they passed it on to others who were still struggling.
PASS IT ON: An Evening with Bill W. & Dr. Bob was created to raise awareness about alcoholism, carry the message of hope and the healing miracle of 12 step recovery and serve as the centerpiece for a National Recovery Education Campaign - presented from coast to coast by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Inc. This Limited Engagement will benefit Tabor House and is timed to celebrate NCADD's 30th annual commemoration of National Alcohol Awareness Month.
